Game Themes (called Course Themes in the previous games) return from the previous game. It's because they have different elements from the previous styles. Unlike the normal Game Styles, when switching to one, the level resets. UĮxtra Game Styles return from the previous game. This style is a variant of New Super Mario Bros. However, SMB1, SMB3 and NSMBU now has variants. Game Styles return from the previous games. The characters also now has abillities that can be turned off in the Settings. 2 style, the level can start with a screen to change the playable character. However, in a course on the Super Mario Bros. Like in Super Mario Maker 2, the playable characters can be changed in the Settings. Superball Flower is no longer in the SMB1 style, but moved to the SML2 style.Įlements formatted in bold are new to Super Mario Maker 3.They are replaced with the Mystery Mushroom and Weird Mushroom. Master Sword and SMB2 Mushroom has been removed from the game.It will have a similar appearence as in the NSMBU style, except a little wider on the wood. Tracks are now avalable in the SM3DW game style.While the Angry Sun and Happy Moon aren't avalable in 3D World, Night Themes have moved to that game (when the night themes are unlocked).Enemies are now stackable in Super Mario 3D World.When pressing "Play" as each character in the editor, the character now has more voice clips than one.Levels now have the ability to have more than one sub-area, and the goal is an element that can be moved to any of the sub-areas.This can be accssed by entering Soundfrog and then pressing the Music Box option.You can also make music for your levels, which is inspired from Mario Paint.The player now has the option to choose to use any of the available music in the game (only those from the mainline games) in any stage or sub-area, regardless of its level theme or style.Custom Scroll now works in vertical sub-areas as well as horizontal.The time limit can now be set to a higher time than 500 seconds, and can also be disabled.
